Construction Update on Monastery Chapel
The monastery Chapel is complete. We have not yet received delivery of the Altar, pews and other furniture. However,we have sufficient chairs and a temporary Altar that allows Bishop Martin and Father Bill to celebrate Mass every Sunday. We still have unresolved issues with zoning and the cold winter days make it difficult to enjoy the Mass. We desparately need donations that will allow us to purchase heating units for the Chapel.
Announcements
In an annoucement sent yesterday, January 11th,2012, the Patriarch, Augustine I, has called for a Church Council for all our world wide clergy. This will be held at the CCC Monastery (St.Robert's) in Enfield, CT sometime in July or August 2012. A firm date will be set later. We are only about twenty miles from Bradley International Airport (Hartford) and there are plenty of economical hotels near by. Rates etc., will be announced later.
In addition to our domestic clergy, we are praying that our Bishops from Brazil; Italy; Canada; Phillipines and Africa will attend. Our Constitution and Canons will be discussed and we hope to have any and all other subjects that concern our church discussed and resolved.

As most of you know,our Patriarch, Archbishop John,is recovering at a Rehab Hospital following emergency spinal surgery. His rehab is progressing day by day and the outlook is good. Saint Robert's Mission: We now have ten communicants as the founding body of our community. Fr. Bill Bradley recently officiated at a wedding vows renewal ceremony at the Knights of Columbus Hall and Baptized an adult woman who then enjoyed her first communion.
