July 21, 2010 UPDATE – a meeting was held in the Patriarch’s Office on Saturday, August 21st, 2010. Present were Bishops Boyle and Gonia. Together, with the Patriarch, a new comprehensive application for Holy Orders was reviewed together with new reporting requirements. More to come as these plans develop.
August 18, 2010 Our Patriarch, Augustine I has been named Chaplain for the world-wide “Gear-Up” Foundation (See the link at the bottom of this page).
August 24, 2010 UPDATE the adult confirmation of Denisse Victoria Giler Carrera was celebrated in a joint service and Mass held in our New Haven parish with St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. There were over fifty people in attendance; a Gospel Choir; together with the presence of The Most Rev. Raymond Gonia, Apostolic Vicar for Clergy and The Most Rev. Martin Boyle, Bishop of the Diocese of Saint Matthias as con-celebrants with our Patriarch – a truly spirit filled and sacramental service was shared.
August 18, 2010 A Vigil Mass for the ninth anniversary of 911 is tentatively scheduled for Friday, September 10, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. at our New Haven parish. More news on this as plans develop.
August 24, 2010 As mentioned on our “Home Page”, on Sunday, October 3rd, 2010, our first European Consecration will take place at our New Haven parish. Bishop Elect Roberto Antonio Coppola from Italy is planning his trip to this country. The Patriarch has forwarded an invitation to all CCC Bishops and Clergy from all over the world to attend if they are able. (The date is tentative – more will be updated later)
August 30, 2010 Our friends in the Anglican Diocese of Texas are going to dedicate the “Anglican Pro-Cathedral of the Holy Spirit” in Dallas, Texas on September 12, 2010. The Most Rev. Raymond Gonia, our Apostolic Vicar for Clergy Formation will be traveling to Dallas and will represent His Beatitude, our Patriarch Augustine I (Archbishop John Walzer) on behalf of the Catholic Charismatic Church. We send our blessings and best wishes to our beloved brother Bishop John Marshall as his ministry continues to grow and prosper.
